Planning Commission

The Planning Commission was established by the Scottville City Charter and addresses the adoption of the Master Plan. The Planning Commission prepares and adopt physical plans for the City and reviews development proposals, both private and public as set forth in the Michigan Zoning Enabling Act, MCL 125.3101 et seq. and the Michigan Planning Enabling Act, MCL 125.3801 et seq. and acts in an advisory capacity for matters referred by the City Commission.

Planning Commission Meetings

The Planning Commission meets the first Tuesday of the month at 5:30pm at Scottville City Hall: 105 N. Main Street. The public is welcomed and encouraged to attend. You may also check our calendar for the meetings schedule.
