REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL CEMETERY MOWING, TRIMMING, & CLEANUP

The City of Scottville seeks a qualified and experienced vendor for the mowing, trimming, and cleanup of the three (3) sections of Brookside Cemetery during the 2025 season of May through October. It is anticipated that this work will require approximately twenty-four (24) work assignments at the three (3) sections of Brookside Cemetery but could entail additional or fewer occasions of work by the vendor who is awarded the work.
The work will include the mowing and trimming of every section of Brookside Cemetery (i.e., all three (3) sections, the removal of any debris (i.e., sticks, trash, etc.) found during the mowing and trimming that occurs, and leaf removal as necessary and as directed by the Superintendent of the Scottville Department of Public Works.
Vendors who submit a proposal will be required to use their own equipment and fuel purchased by them as well as any other materials that will be necessary to perform the work that is described. These vendors will be required to provide proof of automobile, liability and workers’ compensation insurance and shall provide proof of liability insurance that lists the City of Scottville as a co-insured entity.
The selected vendor will work for and at the direction and pleasure of the Superintendent of the Department of Public Works and can be released from service to the City at any time and without cause or notice.
